Dragon Lacquer Review Week: Cuticle and Hand Care Items

This week is all about Dragon Lacquer! I am so excited to bring you four amazing polishes and some awesome hand/cuticle care items! This is a new to me brand (as in I don't own any others) (though I have drooled over some for awhile now!).

Today we have the cuticle and hand care items. Let's get on with a photo and the review, shall we?

I was sent three items: Fluffy Lemon Cuticle Butter (0.5 oz), Unscented Cuticle Oil (0.5 oz), and Anti-Dragon Skin Butter Creme (1 oz). This is my first time trying Indie types of these kinds of products. I was not disappointed!

First, let's talk about the Fluffy Lemon Cuticle Butter. Um, first off, yum!  It is just the right amount of lemon Pez smell to make it perfect! I know some lemon scents can be way too strong, not this stuff! It's perfect for me because I have to be careful with a lot of scents as they can cause migraines. This stuff was spot on for the smell.

So how well does the Fluffy Lemon Cuticle Butter work? Wonderfully! I would rank it right up there with Lush's Lemony Flutter and Burt's Bees! Yep and guess what, it's priced reasonable too! $6.50 for a 1oz jar ($1.75 for a sample, $4 for 0.5 oz, $6.50 for 1 oz, and $10 for 2 oz). I just open it up and rub it into my cuticles, clean off my nail with acetone and voila, nails are beautiful and ready to be polished! Oh and it's not too shiny or greasy! Win! :) My only complaint is that the container is a bit tough to open when you have freshly lotioned hands. Oops, not such a bad thing though, just open before putting on the lotion! :)

Next we have Unscented Cuticle Oil. I have a few oils but I am never religious with using them because they are messy because I have to squeeze them, then they flood and pool and ick. But Dragon Lacquer's Cuticle Oil is a brush on! Yep, I'm a little behind on the times with things like this, but I love it! So much easier to apply! No more flooding for me! I chose the unscented because I was a bit nervous to try any major scents. The unscented is purely that, unscented and smells a bit like oil (not car oil, but cooking oil. Just thought I would clarify that. As it is made of nut oils, that makes sense!). But, it is not too strong that you are smelling it the entire day. The smell dissipated after a few minutes! :)

The Cuticle Oil runs for $6 for a 0.5 oz bottle ($1.75 for a sample). She has a ton of scents to choose from, each made from essential oils and also features some other scents that aren't essential oils. I really liked how healthy my cuticles looked after using this.

Finally we have Anti-Dragon Skin Butter Creme. First off, love the name of this! Clever! Second, love this creme! It works wonderfully! Again, I had the unscented kind (she has many different scents, essential oils and others). Mine still had a bit of lemon scent to it, just enough to add a bit of something to it, so I was fine with it! This sells for $6 for a 2oz container ($1.75 for a sample, $6 for 2 oz, $9 for 4 oz, and $15 for 8 oz). Just to let you know, when you put it on it feels a bit greasy but the oil absorbs after a few minutes leaving your hands soft and healthy!

All of these products are made with nut products, so please be aware of this if you have an allergy! On the cuticle oil she lists that she is able to make a custom blend for those with allergies! :) A list of all the items ingredients can be found on the product pages that I have linked.

I was happy with the way all these products worked together to create healthier hands and cuticles for me. I can talk to you all day about these products but how about I show you some pictures! :)

Here are my naked no lotion, no cuticle butter, no oil nails. Not too bad (which is surprising as I have been neglecting them! Oops!).

Here they are after using all three Dragon Lacquer products: Anti-Dragon Skin Butter Creme, Fluffy Lemon Cuticle Butter, and Cuticle Oil. Look how much healthier they look! And not too shiny and greasy! Awesome stuff! I would recommend them all!
